POLOCK PINES' LBJ GRASSLANDS FALL CTC

Polock Pines will be the host venue for a Competitive Trail Challenge, or CTC, on October 23rd, 2011. The challenge will consist of six judged obstacles over a 7 mile trail ride. Points will be awarded at each obstacle, and the total for each rider will determine the winner in each of three classes; Open, Pleasure and Junior divisions.

Itinerary;
Events will begin on Thursday, October 27th with early check-in and campground opening, continuing into Friday, October 28th. Come on in, get settled, and enjoy the Grasslands trails.
Friday night will be the beginning of festivities with a get-to-know and Cabrito dinner. Time to tell lies and get comfortable in the casual and relaxed settings of Polock Pines.
Saterday, October 29th
700-900am check in and continental breakfast
800am judges meeting
900am riders briefing.....gotta be here to get your obstacle sheet!
1000 am first rider out
1100 am last rider out
1200-230pm hamburger and hotdog lunch
300pm awards (please dont hound Kathryn about the time-to-score, she has a permit to carry)

AWARDS;
Ribbons and multiple prizes for first thru sixth places in all divisions.
Cash awards for Open and Pleasure divisions 1st-3rd places. Minimum $100-$80-$60. These awards will be increased as sponsorships are brought on board.
Cash jackpots, $20 open and $10 pleasure divisions will have $50 added for open and $25 added for pleasure. these added money jackpots may increase as sponsorships are added.

Entry fees;
Entry fees are payable through the ACTHA website. Entry fees are $58 for Open and Pleasure, and $25 for Juniors.
$10 ranch fee collected at time of registration.
Optional $20 Open division jackpot entry or $10 Pleasure division entry collected at registration.
Meal charges collected at point of sale. $2 breakfast, $5 lunch, $15 dinner.
